Primary PE and Sports Premium

At Newtown School, we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to develop a lifelong love of physical activity, sport, and healthy living. That’s why we make full use of the Primary PE and Sport Premium—a government funding initiative designed to help schools improve the quality of physical education and sport provision for all children.

This funding enables us to enhance our PE curriculum, broaden sporting opportunities, and embed physical activity into daily school life. Whether it’s through specialist coaching, upskilling staff, introducing new sports, or increasing access to competitions and clubs, we’re committed to helping our pupils get active, build confidence, and thrive—both on and off the pitch.
